This course package includes all of the content from 5 of our separately named training courses, as mentioned below, each certificate will be gained individually after you finish each section, which includes the following:

The aim of this initial Leadership and Management proficiency online training package, provides all new Supervisors, Team Leaders, Managers/HR Managers and Company Owners/Partners with a clear understanding of what you will need to know and understand for the prospective employment of a new team member, from recruitment to passing the probationary period, within the UK. This course package may take up to 8 hours to complete for a novice, after purchase it will remain available for up to 1 year online for you to be able to dip in and out of as you need, please remember to download the content of each separate course, so that this can be utilised beyond a year for your reference, should you require to revisit the information.

Course overview

On completion of this comprehensive training package you will be able to understand :

The basic principles and processes of recruitment selection, probation and managing staff through effective 1 to 1 meetings.

How rigorous preparation is key throughout the  employment process.

The necessity  of abiding within current legislations and compliance obligations throughout selection, recruitment, assessment and probation processes.

The importance of Company protocols and procedures at every stage of employment, being transparent and providing clear aims/goals.

The importance of making informed decisions regarding confirmation, extension or termination of employment.

The content of this course package is available on downloadable PDFs for you to be able to utilise as mentioned above, which can be increased in size when downloaded if need be. Please also ensure that you follow your workplace Policies and Protocols when carrying out recruitment processes  and work in accordance with these. This course is correct at the time of creation in 2026.

End of course package assessment – You will be able to show off all the information that you have learnt, there is quite a lot, so making notes would benefit you for a quick recap, don’t forget that you also have the downloadable content to utilise as a recap of what you have learnt! You will need a pass rate of 80% or more to pass and obtain your certificate, this can either be downloaded or printed at the end of the course.
