  • Planning to recruit. 

You will explore how planning is a key component to employment, making the expectations, working hours and job role details clear and concise for both you and any potential candidates.

  • Common recruitment mistakes and how to avoid them.

We will learn how to avoid common mistakes when employing a new employee and  compare this to what should happen as a course of process to attract and potentially employ the right candidate.

  • Basic CV review, what to look for and red flags.

We will explore what is desirable and undesirable within a CV and how to filter out irrelevant information and how to utilise the information provided, to be able to create helpful questioning at an interview stage.

  • Interviewing.

We will investigate how to plan for interviewing and discuss the key questions required for the role to employ the right candidate.

  • End of course assessment.

This is where you will be able to show off all the information that you have learnt, there is quite a lot, so making notes would benefit you for a quick recap! You will need a pass rate of 80% or more to pass and obtain your certificate, which you can download and print on completion.
