This course is designed for anyone who will be responsible for upholding key HR principals to maintain fairness, equality and comply with employment law within the UK. While HR might not be your main role, understanding what employers are required to do is essential to your role in managing people. This course will cover the core aspects of recruitment, selection and induction, to give a broad and relevant overview. The time taken to complete this course will depend upon prior experience and knowledge and could take up to 2 hours to complete, particularly if your experience is limited, you will have a downloadable PDF at the end of the course lessons, for your future reference requirements.

The aim of this training is for the learner to understand :

The basic principles and processes of recruitment selection and HR basics.
How rigorous preparation is key to successful selection and recruitment.
To be able to carry out the tasks involved in preparing to recruit.
The necessity of abiding within current legislations throughout the selection and recruitment process.
The ‘dos and don’ts’ of interview and selection.

This course has been created to help guide you, to become familiar with what you might be expected to do and how you can approach the tasks involved in the recruitment and selection process. The contents of this course are available on a downloadable PDF for you to be able to utilise at a later date if required, which can be increased in size when downloaded if need be. Please also ensure that you follow your workplace Policies and Protocols when carrying out recruitment and selection and work in accordance with these.

End of course assessment – You will be able to show off all the information that you have learnt, there is quite a lot, so making notes would benefit you for a quick recap, don’t forget that you also have the downloadable content to utilise as a recap of what you have learnt! You will need a pass rate of 80% or more to pass and obtain your certificate, this can either be downloaded or printed at the end of the course.
